Since the legalization of abortion in 1973, more than 55 million lives have been lost; 55,772,015 to be exact! I love it when mothers have the courage to tell their beloved children that they almost made this decision of loss, but choose life instead for their babies. Even more precious is when these children tell their story, knowing that they may have never had the opportunity to live their life, a life of value, worth and contribution.
Many of these children have grown to be fantastic contributors to this world through their gifts and talents. I wonder what our lives would be like without them? So much loss, so much waste. So grievous to think of that particular set of DNA that God created, never having the opportunity to bring to the world what was intended.
